- “"It ain't easy being banished. Take my buddy, Bigfoot. When he was banished, he fashioned an enormous diaper out of poison ivy. Wore it on his head like a tiara. Called himself King Itchy. It won't be so hard for you guys."”
- ―The Yeti recalls the story of Bigfoot.
Bigfoot is a character mentioned in Monsters, Inc. He was a friend of the Yeti before being banished for an unknown reason. Bigfoot became a bit eccentric after being banished. He created a diaper out of poison ivy and wore it on his head like a tiara, calling himself King Itchy. The Yeti recounted this story to Mike and Sulley while they were briefly stuck in the Himalayas wasteland.
Bigfoot is based off the real-world urban legend of an ape-like creature that purportedly inhabits the forests of North America.
