The Disney Infinity series is a series of action/adventure sandbox games that are based on gameplay elements from various different game titles, such as Minecraft and Toy Story 3: The Video Game. Similarly to Skylanders, Disney Infinity makes use of NFC functionality. In order to play as a certain character, players must purchase and place a figure onto the Disney Infinity Base.
