After a page is renamed, the redirect may not be needed. When you're looking at one of the redirect reports and you click on a redirect, after a few seconds a "→ What links here" link will appear. Click on that and see if any other pages use this redirect.
If they don't, you can go back to the previous page in your browser and you can delete that redirect.
If they do, first see how many pages use that redirect. If it's a lot, then the redirect is still needed. If it's just one or two, check the page to see if you can update that to have it stop using the redirect and you can then delete the redirect.
Talk pages for articles that are renamed usually don't need the old redirect since very few people will link to the Talk page. There may be some in Message Wall messages or in the older User Talk pages, but the same thing applies: update those and then you can get rid of the Talk page redirect.
